Giveaway!

I had intended to celebrate a blogiversary at my one year mark which was also around the 100th post. But I got busy....and was a slacker! Now I am too impatient to wait for the 150th post, so I will be random and just go for it. I was lucky enough to win a gift certificate awhile back for an etsy shop that carries japanese fabric. So today I combined my love of japanese fabric, sewing, photography, blogging and soon to be giving!

Don't these little piggies put a smile on your face?

How about these adorable coffee cups?

Here is the finished product! A coffee cozy and a purse tissue holder.

So for many it's back to school or homeschooling as my Sister does with 5 hooligans. You can impress your barrista with your new stylin' and eco friendly cozy while getting your java, hot cocoa or tea on!

I'm sure there will be lots of noses needing wiped in the near future! Mostly I just want to put a smile on your face and spread some happiness. So here's the deal just leave me a comment. If you don't have a blog be sure to include your e-mail so I can contact you to send the prize. I will end this Wed. 9/2/09 at noon EDT. That way I can get it in the mail by the end of the week. By the way do you remember your kindergarten teacher's name? Mine was Ms. Schneider!

Count me in!
My kindergarten teacher was Mr. Wright. He looked like a mountain man and drove an ice cream truck. Now that I'm older I realize, he was the perfect kindergarten teacher.

Kiddo, Great work, congratulation on a job well done. Now post a pic of those new haircuts. Love, Mom
1932 one room schools did not have K.G. We lived in Homer, Ohio when your oldest sister turned five and they didn't have one either.
She really wanted so much to go and learn how to read. She was able to sing in the choir at our church and that helped. She had to memorize every song since she did not know how to read.

Great giveaway! Thanks!

My kindergarten teacher was Mrs. Lincoln. I still see her around town quite frequently and she still remembers me, too! I was a kindergarten teacher for 4 years before I started having babies of my own. I certainly hope my students remember me when they're older :)

Mrs. Neighburg was my kindergarten teacher's name. Can't believe I remember that. She's probably so old now:o

Anyway thanks for the sweet comment earlier. I know great minds think alike right? Love the background...can't go wrong really with any of her selections. Have a great day:)

Hi! Thanks for stopping by my blog and leaving such a nice comment!

I think I bought the Amy Butler fabric on Ebay actually (there are quite a few people who sell designer fabrics in precuts). I get a lot of my designer fabric online actually because it can be difficult to find (and more expensive) in Canada.

Oh my gosh, it's been too long since I've popped by and your giveaway is just too adorable!! I'd post it on my blog, but seeing as today is the 2nd, it'd only be up for a couple hours until the drawing. Poop. VERY cute stuff!!! My kindergarten teacher was Mrs. Siemer and I remember we really did learn to read with the Dick & Jane books! You take care ~ ♥
