Lunch Success!

Some of the leaves are already starting to change here.

So this week I decided to pack more of a snack lunch. I have a couple of sandwich cutters that divide the sandwich in half into dinosaurs. I added some cheese spots. There are some goldfish and grapes as well. My daughter ate half of hers and my son ate all of his!

This past week I obtained a new bento set, however it is made in China and the handles are cheap. I will likely sew some elastic straps instead. I have no idea what the plastic is made of but since the food isn't being heated in it I figure it's okay. And I used my silicone dividers as well. I sent leftover quesadilla triangles with a cheese mickey mouse garnish. Catsup for dipping, my kids eat catsup with everything! Pretzels for one and goldfish for the other and raspberries/strawberries. Verdict son's lunch was gone! Daughter finished her lunch on the way home with the exception of some of the quesadilla which her brother helped her polish off.

Here they are all assembled.

They even had cute bags they came with. The sizing for these boxes was just right for their little tummies. I probably won't use these too often because the handles are flimsy and I am a bit nervous about the safety of the plastic. I always hand wash all of my boxes by the way.

What a cute lunch. Wish you were my mom;)

I just wanted to tell you I got my give-away today. Thank you so much for my cute little coffee cozy and klennex cover. So neat to go from seeing them on your blog, to holding them in person. I really appreciate it. Have a great weekend.

Oh, I love it when the leaves change colors. We're never in Canada when that happens --except for the year we got married!

My kids still have their lunch at home, but my son will have to have lunch at school when he starts first grade next year. Hmm, maybe I should start serving lunch to him in a bento box... My daughter might like that, too!

You are so much fun! I'm glad you figured out the lunch thing... it's so stressful isn't it? You did good.

Jealous of the fall colors. Enjoy that while you can!

Love the Mickey Mouse box and bag! Sydney would love it too!

The Hello Kitty lunch bag was from Big Lots, and they also sell it at TRU for a little more.
